If milk is squirting out of my breasts does that mean im pregnant? My boobs keep on leaking this white stuff that tastes like milk kinda i really need help and i don't want a doctor bill just so i can find out im pregnant... |
| I honestly thought that if you were pregnant that the milk would be coming out closer to the end of the pregnancy, have you taken a pregnancy test recently? Does it seem like your gaining weight? Do you feel tired and hungry all the time? if you have any of these symptoms then it is possible that you could be pregnant. I have not really heard of women just by chance having milk come out of their breast. Some young babys have milk come out of their nipples when they are being fed a slightly large amount. I think its possible that you could be nearing the end of your pregnancy if you are. I still would suggest that you go to a doctor and get checked cause thats really not normal. Best of luck to yah:) |
Milk squirting out of my breasts? i have big breasts and they tend to squirt milk out any one else having this problem? whats happening. Im not pregnate and i have never been. |
Are you on any type of birth control? Sometimes certain birth control can mess with your hormones and cause you to lactate.
If you are not on any birth control then you need to see your doctor to rule out health problems. There are a variety of health problems that can cause you to lactate from a hormonal imbalance to tumors (not to scare you, but I was tested for a brain tumor because I did not stop lactating - 6 years after my youngest son stopped nursing. It was negative).
You may want to get checked out just to be on the safe side, there are any number of things aside from pregnancy that can cause you to lactate. |
16wks preg and my breasts keep squirting out milk.? every 10 mins or so milk squirt out of my breast. And at night while I sleep I'm afraid of putting to much weight on them because they'll squirt out more milk. Any advice? When will it stop? Thanks! |
lol.. this happens.. and it's normal.
I can't tell you if it will last or not... but I would suggest buying nursing pads for your bra, to absorb any wetness.
I would talk to your doctor about it.... but I know some people which have stared leaking during pregnancy. It's just your body getting ready to feed that baby. |
My Breasts Are Squirting Clear Liquid (for months)? Back in September, I noticed a lil white fluid on my nipple. At first, I thought it was lint, as I had just taken my shirt and bra off to go to bed, but when i tried to remove it, it was liquid. I squeezed my breasts and more came out. A day later I went to the hospital, they said it was normal and would go away. A few months later I noticed the liquid was brown, clear and milky white. Went to the clinic, heard the same thing. The past few days, when I squeeze my breasts, the liquid squirts out a tiny bit. However, tonight...its been squirting out very far and for a long time. I've never been pregnant, I am not pregnant now and I don't know exactly what could be the cause of this. But I really don't think it's normal for breasts to be squirting liquid. Any women out there ever have this happen to them? SERIOUS RESPONSES ONLY PLEASE!!! |
Have they done blood tests to make sure that everything is ok?
I had this happen and I was NOT pregnant and they did a blood test, can't remember the name of it but it was lactating something. I was told that as long as it was clear not to worry, but if it became discolored or turned colors to come back to the doctor.
PLEASE stay on top of it. |
How does milk squirt like a fountain without squeezing the breasts? I saw a video where a lady was squirting milk like a fountain without even touching her breasts. The milk was comming out from many small holes and the fountain was 1 ft high, wonder how this could happen. |
| Part of the process of lactating is the milk ejection reflex (often called a let-down). When oxytocin is released into the body, often at unpredictable times or in reaction to the thought or cry of the baby, milk is ejected into the ducts and out through the nipple pores at the tip of the nipple, thus creating the fountain effect. The more milk a woman has stored in the breasts (within reason) the more force the milk is ejected with. |
I have a yellow to clear liquid squirting out of breast? I am 15 and never have had sex so I know I'm not pregnant. Last night, I noticed a yellow drop of liquid around my nipple. I squeezed the area and a stream of a yellowish/clear liquid squirted out. I am really scared and do not have good enough relations with my mom to ask about it easily. What should I do? |
| Clear is fairly normal when you are starting to develop - but the yellow would tend to indicate some sort of infection. Check to see if you are running a fever. It also it not an indication of you having done anything wrong, so there it no problem asking your mom about it. You need to get used to talking to her or to your doctor about things involving your breasts and other private areas so you can get proper care, though, so this is a good starting point. Sometimes moms are reluctant to start talking with their daughters like they are young ladies rather than guyren, but you need to get her into that mode so she can properly answer other questions you might have later! |
If I used a condom, withdrawal, and squirted outside on her breasts, what are the chances of pregnancy? Now, I didn't squirt inside of her and there was nothing outside by the vaginal area when we were done as I checked. My girlfriend has had recent swollen breasts and a painful period. What are the chances of pregnancy? I am very paranoid at the moment.. any answers? |
| If she is having a period she is not pregnant. |
I had an abortion 4 years ago and I still lactate. Milk literally squirts out of my breasts. normal? I had an abortion after 9 weeks of being pregnant...my breasts produced milk a week after. 4 years later, they still produce milk. However my boyfriend enjoys them when they squirt. Will this stop if they are not stimulated? |
| Umm....... Usually your milk doesn't come in until days after you give birth and since you never gave birth and weren't even close i don't know why you would have any milk in the first place much less 4 years later! Ok and if i can believe that for just a min your body only continues to make milk if you have been nursing or expressing. Humm you lost me with this one. Go to the dr. Bind your breasts down and tell hubby hands off for a while. This is just.....................CRAZY! |
Im breast feeding and squirting milk when she delatches need help? i just had my newborn 2 weeks ago and just about everytime she delatches her my nipple squirts her in the face its really annoying and she doesnt like it either. i make sure i have a cloth real close so to not squirt her to much. but sometimes she delatches and i dont notice it at that moment. |
You have an oversupply, which is common the first weeks. If it causes a lot of problems you can try to change it now but its generally not considered a good until 4-8 weeks
www.kellymom.com/bf/supply/fast-l…
Is forceful let-down the problem?
Does your baby do any of these things?
* Gag, choke, strangle, gulp, gasp, cough while nursing as though the milk is coming too fast
* Pull off the breast often while nursing
* Clamp down on the nipple at let-down to slow the flow of milk
* Make a clicking sound when nursing
* Spit up very often and/or tend to be very gassy
* Periodically refuse to nurse
* Dislike comfort nursing in general
If some of this sounds familiar to you, you probably have a forceful let-down. This is often associated with too much milk (oversupply). Some mothers notice that the problems with fast letdown or oversupply don't start until 3-6 weeks of age. Forceful let-down runs the gamut from a minor inconvenience to a major problem, depending upon how severe it is and how it affects the nursing relationship.
What can I do about it?
There are essentially two ways you can go about remedying a forceful let-down: (1) help baby deal with the fast flow and (2) take measures to adjust your milk supply down to baby's needs. Since forceful let-down is generally a byproduct of oversupply, most moms will be working on both of these things. It may take a couple of weeks to see results from interventions for oversupply, so try to be patient and keep working on it.

Gaining, Gulping, Grimacing?
Is your baby thriving… but nursing is a struggle? See if many of these sound familiar:
* My baby chokes and gulps and splutters when she nurses, especially at the beginning.
* My breasts always feel full, or they spray when they let down.
* My baby "wrestles" with my breast, pulling off, coming back on as if she's starving, pulling away and crying, backing off once she has the nipple in her mouth, arching.
* My baby has lots of went and poopy diapers perhaps even with streaks of blood.
* My baby is colicky, or gassy, or spits up frequently.
* My baby sometimes - or always - has frothy or greenish stools.
* My baby is gaining rapidly, or grew fast at first with weight gain dropping as fussiness increased.
* My baby rarely falls asleeep at my breast; nursing is an athletic event rather than a peaceful one.
* My baby will nurse only for food, not for comfort.
* My baby grimaces when she nurses, as if there's something wrong with my milk, or she frequently seems to have uncomfortable intestines.
* I try to make a point of nursing on both breasts each time.
* If it's been less than two hours, I look for some cause for fussiness other than hunger. |
