What are the chances to succeed for an asian nurse with a husband and guy in migrating to canada? I am a filipino nurse? Can I immediately or easily get a job in canada? Will we ever survive with the salary to cover housing, foods, guy education and other basic needs? Would the salary for a nurse be enough to get a house on an installment basis? |
| You will have no problems. Just be patient and pick the right job. Research every offer, it's easy to do these days on the Internet. Remember, the salary they quote is before tax. In Canada taxes can easily eat up to 1/2 your salary. |
What are the qualifications in order to be a Nurse in Germany? I am an Asian Registered Nurse. Help!? I wanna live in Germany together with my future German husband. I want to work as a Nurse there. What are the qualifications in order to be a nurse? Do I need to have a German course? For how many months? Is there a nurse training before working in the hospital? Are there examinations? Please help me. I really want to know. |
| MY question to you is Why can't your future German husband get you these answers? All he has to do is to make a couple of calls to an institution or look up the internet to find out.Duhhh |
Navy guy takes Asian nurse out of Vietnamese/Korean clinic? I've seen this on Scrubs and some other shows. Is this from a movie? What movie? |
| It's a parody of the scene from "An Officer and a Gentleman" where Richard Gere picks up Debra Winger. The scene I saw was with Dr Kelso who has a thing for Asian women. |
Who is the random asian nurse in Grey's Anatomy? So, if you are a die-hard fan you have probably noticed the random asian nurse that is in almost every episode in all 5 seasons of Grey's Anatomy. She only appears in the O.R. and i don't think she has ever had any lines...
but she is always there!!
AND MY FAVORITE CHARACTER, of course.
Does anybody out there know who this actress is ? or if the character has a name ?
such a mystery... |
| no one special yet but i am like you....they keep showing her for some reason....so maybe she will soon be special. we shall see huh? |
Is US or Canada still open for nurse who are graduates from asian countries? p.s. im not a nursing graduate. |
| They may more likely open for foreign nurses esp. Canada but I think US has quota for working visas for nurses so it's not really open all year round once the allowed number is all used up. |
Guys- what do you think of a hot asian nurse? taking care of you? Dating one? |
Yes!! I love Asian women and for her to be a nurse too that is definitely a plus!! There is one thing that she would need to have as well and that is a very decent personality (down to earth) and not stuck up/conceded. If the personality matches the outer beauty then she will be even more attractive!!
Please no dates .......... I'm already in a relationship. |
If I become a Nurse Practitioner in the U.S., how hard would it be to get hired in Asian countries? I would like to live in Asia for a few years after I get my Master's degree and become certified as a NP.. thinking about Japan, Taiwan, or maybe Hong Kong. Would it be easy or hard for me to find a job, and how is the pay? |
| Impossible to answer. You may not get a job at all. You would have to possibly re-test, be precepted, take classes etc. Even physicians can not waltz into foreign countries and start practicing easily. Medications and treatments often are far different as well. NP duties in Asia may not be anything like the ones in the US either. |
How do Filipino Nurses compare with other asian nurses abroad? I'm an 18 year old filipino nursing student and i just wanted to find out whether or not Filipino Nurses abroad are doing their job right. any answer would be appreciated! thanks! |
I have worked with more than my fair share of Filipino nurses in hospitals and nursing homes. I was NOT impressed with their nursing skills, and especially not with their interpersonal skills. There were a few, of course, who were wonderful, but many held grudges and were not honest when questioned about what was bothering them. I also found them to be cold and unsympathetic with patients in pain, those needing diaper changes and slow in responding to call lights.
The best advice I can give you is to be friendly, cooperative, and sympathetic. Patients are your customers, and they are the reason you will have a job. Respect them and treat them, and your co-workers, with kindness and respect. Just because you asked the question, I think you'll probably be a good nurse, because you care. |
Has anyone heard anymore news about Michelle Le, the asian nursing student that disappeared? she was working at Kaiser and the police supposedly found blood in the hospital garage, but they haven't said any new updates since last week. what is going on? |
| I went to the Nancy Grace.com and typed michelle le they said the police were now considering this a homicide and no longer a missing person after checking out her car they must have found something that lead them to this conclusion , but no body was found yet, go to Nancy Grace .com |
